Whether you're job hunting right now, or you simply want to know how your current employer compares to the rest of the market, look no further than Great Place to Work.
The global institute specializing in workplace culture research and analysis just dropped its list of the 100 Best Workplaces in Canada in 2024. Between the three categories — under 100 employees, 100 to 199 employees and over 1,000 employees — over two dozen Montreal companies made the cut, and that doesn't even include places in the Montreal area, like Boucherville.
While the methodology used by Great Place to Work to compile the list is proprietary, their website says "a great workplace is defined by trust, pride, and camaraderie for all." We also know that selected companies have to be certified as Great Place to Work organizations in the past year — a process that involves surveying the employees, and completing a "culture brief" to provide details about the company's programs and practices. Companies with 1,000 employees or more need to complete an additional Culture Audit questionnaire.
Without further ado, here are the 31 Montreal companies that were named among the country's top employers this year.
