It's safe to say that no trip to IKEA is complete without a trip to its iconic food court. Whether you fuel up with Swedish meatballs before the maze of sofas, kitchen displays and carpets galore or grab yourself a much-needed soft-serve ice cream treat post-checkout, there's no denying IKEA knows what's up when it comes to good (and cheap) food.

Now, for those who frequent IKEA often enough, you can save 50% on its main dishes. And for those who don't, mark your calendars because you're likely going to want to get in on this IKEA discount.

Every Thursday after 11 a.m. (2 p.m. at certain locations), you can score half off IKEA's main dishes including the eight-piece Swedish meatballs ($4.50), which are served with mashed potatoes, peas and lingonberry sauce, as well as its plant-based version ($4.00). You can also opt for the salmon filet and/or the haddock and fries ($4.50).

To snag the delicious deal you must become an IKEA Family member, and your membership card must be presented at check out to receive the discount on any of the above main dishes.

Furthermore, the discount can only be applied to dine-in-only customers, while supplies last. Per IKEA Canada, the weekly discount, which has officially been dubbed "Swe-dish Thursdays" cannot be combined with any other offer or discount, and is limited to one meal per customer.

So, who's hungry? Or as they say in Swedish, "Vem är hungrig?"
